This is a 16 hour course taught over two days.
All Referees Candidates must have their own unique e-mail address and present it at the clinic.
Bring a referee whistle, a digital watch with a count-up feature and Assistant Referee flags to both days.
Plan to bring a sack lunch or be prepared to drive to a fast food establishment.
You will need two separate checks: one for $30 to MASRU and one for $40 to WISREF.ORG.
Twelve and Thirteen year old candidates will be certified as a level 9 official. Any candidate 14 and older will be certified as a level 8 referee. This will be better explained in the course.
To prepare for this course become familiar with the referee resources available at ussoccer.com. Specifically review the latest online version of the Laws of the Game, (2009-10 Laws of the Game-English.) Go to www.ussoccer.com, under Referees click Laws of the Game.

Prerequisite: |
Participants must be
at least 12 years old prior to attending this clinic. Those who are 12-13 years old will be registered as a level 9 referee, or recreational referee, and will be limited to working games at the recreational level only. Those who are 14 years of age or older will be registered as a level 8 referee. |
